University-Wide Advising Contacts Network

In accordance with University Faculty Senate legislation (Policy 32-20), a network of advising contacts assures the availability of current academic advising information across all Penn State locations. Students and academic advisers may contact network persons for information about academic policies and requirements or assistance in implementing academic actions.

Each college has a College Contact Person (CCP) whose responsibilities include developing and disseminating advising information related to that college's majors and any requirements related to entering the majors and changing location assignment.

On every campus there is a College Contact and Referral Representative (CCRR) for each Penn State college. The CCRR provides current advising information about requirements for that college's majors and for change of location assignments.

Details about the network and the responsibilities of CCPs and CCRRs, are available at http://undergrad.psu.edu/aappm/B-6-college-campus-administrative-advising-information-communication.html.
