Penn State Conference on Academic Advising - The Penn State Conference on Academic Advising seeks to showcase novel research and practices that contribute to the field of academic advising. To meet the changing needs of our students and to overcome the challenges facing higher education, academic advisers must examine and evolve their practice to incorporate new scholarship and innovative ideas.

The Mentor - The Mentor is a peer-reviewed journal devoted to introducing innovative ideas relevant to academic advising. The journal publishes high quality scholarship from a variety of disciplinary perspectives and is open to both traditional and experimental analytic methods or writing styles.

NACADA - NACADA is an association of professional advisors, counselors, faculty, administrators, and students working to enhance the educational development of students. It promotes and supports quality academic advising in institutions of higher education to enhance the educational development of students.

Noon Advising Seminars - Each semester the Division of Undergraduate Studies invites the Penn State community to presentations featuring academic advising topics. These sessions, typically during the noon hour, take place on the University Park campus and provide opportunities for professional development, networking and advising discussions. 

Advising Awards

Penn State Excellence in Advising Award - Established by the Undergraduate Student Government's Academic Assembly with support from the Office of Undergraduate Education, the Excellence in Advising Award recognizes advising excellence. All current, full-time employees with advising responsibilities and at least two years of University service are eligible.
