Event Date:

Time:

Several new Faculty Senate policies and Administrative Council on Undergraduate Education (ACUE) procedures have been approved with the intention of supporting students’ academic success. Recognizing that students encounter academic difficulties for a broad range of reasons and that the University has a vested interest in their recovery and success, these changes will help shape a culture of student success by developing policies that support the positive academic recovery of undergraduates across Penn State. In particular, the roundtable will discuss changes to ACUE procedures I-1: Academic Difficulty and Recovery, which focuses on how units work with students on Academic Warning and Academic Suspension. In addition, the panelists will discuss Grade Forgiveness (H-2), which will be implemented beginning summer 2020.

Join the presenters in discussing these procedures and considerations for advisers when working with students around these topics.
